Hi there.  I’m Wendy and this is my business – well, business is a misleading term.

• Caim Services is the conduit through which I am able to be paid   (occasionally) for being creative and enabling others to discover and express their own creativity.
• Caim Services is the banner that declares my intention to promote and encourage all that is good in people, communities and groups while building protection against the negative influences in life.
• Caim Services is a way I try to give amplification to the voices of people often ignored and marginalised in our society.

In practice the sort of things I do are creative and arts projects with a broad range of adult and children’s groups in the community.  I also provide support and advice to community organisations, and artists wanting to lead participatory arts projects and help them identify and apply for funding.  I have particular interests in forum theatre / theatre of the oppressed, issues around mental ill health and well being, young people achieving their goals and issues around equality.

The name Caim (Ky-eem) is the word for an ancient Celtic Christian style of prayer.  An encircling prayer about keeping all that is good within, and evil without.  So I hope you agree that this is a suitable name for my personal business.
